Support yourself spiritually by taking advantage of 'down' time to be alone, quiet and introspective. Pray, meditate, take baths, listen to soft instrumental music, or do whatever else helps to relax and be still. The more you can be in this state, or a state of joy and laughter, the more rapidly you can move through spiritual rebuilding.
Also, spend time journaling. Don't think too much about what you write, just begin and allow the words to flow. Write about what you are thinking and feeling as if you were listening to a friend vent or perhaps dream. You discover feelings you have buried, thoughts you had not acknowledged.
Through journaling, you can get to know yourself better, and either discover or define dreams and goals more clearly. Journaling can help you become more enlightened and relaxed as you express your emotions and get them out of your body. If you discover unpleasant things, you might want to hide or destroy your writings afterward.
It is also helpful to end your journaling each time by contemplating a few things that you are grateful for...this helps set the tone for further healing and more joy in your life.
