Jan 05, 2016
When the Heart is Broken, Natural Remedies can Help Soothe and Heal.
"After the loss of someone we love, our path is forever changed. The deeper we loved them, the greater the shift that will result on our path. It is essential to allow stillness, quiet time and internal reflection in order for your inner guidance system to reset. This is your soul creating a new map, because the world around you has changed. Understand the critical importance of this new map, because without allowing time for it, you can feel forever lost.
This is the greatest reason for allowing yourself the required time to heal. If you are reading this years after someone you cared for has passed, and you still feel lost, take the time now. For many people it is supportive to work with a minister, counselor or healer, to help you discover and reset that life map for yourself."
Excerpt from Living Through Grief With Grace by KalianaWhether aromatherapy, essential oils, herbs or flower essences, no matter what form of natural remedy you research, you will find documented support that rosehip has been valued throughout world history for its ability to help heal the heart physically and emotionally.
Physically: The deep red, purple and sometimes black Rosehips provide the specific nutrients in a particular combination vital to the circulatory system-the very system that is fed by and feeds the heart. This includes vitamins D, E, essential fatty acids, and iron, plus antioxidant bioflavonoids.
Emotionally: When we are overwhelmed by grief, mourning, or even conflict, it is hard to feel at peace. Finding and feeling love and compassion for self during times of heart ache is essential for comfort and to feel at peace.
To increase the love inside, get to your heart center: Rosehip, the core/heart of a rose (so often used to symbolize love), helps guide you to those depths. The nutrients and healing energies of rosehip help comfort, calm, soothe, and heal a broken or wounded heart. Ahhh, the power of love!
